So if you know me, you'll know I love a good old fake tan! I have been trialing and testing the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold. It is advertised as a tanning dry oil and can be bought for £14.99 for 150ml.
I was looking for a tan I could use when I'm away on holiday (as I don't really tan when I'm away)! I wanted something that I could put on in the evening and wake up with a even tan.
The main thing I love about this tan is that you can apply it and get dressed straight away! With most tans you have to apply it in the evening and wake up with a tan and **slightly tanned bed sheets**. This product doesn't stain clothing and has a coconut scent which is amazing.
COLOUR
With any of the Bondi Sands products they leave your skin with an olive/brown shade - basically you won't look like an oompa loompa. I've tried to photograph my arm with natural light and no editing to show you the colour pay off after one application that's developed over night. Bare in mind I'm quite pale. This isn't dark enough for a night out for me though. I would say this tan is inbetween a daily tan and a tan. You can defo build this up over a couple of days.
LONGEVITY
This tan last the usual amount of time most tanners last (a couple of days). You can apply this every couple of days to boost the tan and longevity.
APPLICATION
I always moisturize just before applying this as I already have very dry skin and I can find this oil a little drying. This is the best way to avoid patches. I spray the product directly onto my skin and blend out with a tanning mit and then repeat. I find one application mean you don't cover the entire area properly. I've read other reviews to say the oil is a little messy, I don't agree as long as you don't over spray the product on it's quite easy to apply. As I said above it dries very quickly and you can get dressed quickly after.
Overall I really like this product. It's the perfect tan to use on holiday if you are one of those that don't tan when away. I will be putting this on when I go out in the evening so I can wake up and pretend I caught that tan with the sun.
Have you tried Bondi Sands?
Love Laura xxx

I don't use self tanners really, but I am super pale so maybe I could try, ahaha. Looks like a pretty good product, and good to know it isn't super pigmented. Nice post!
