Have I Changed Through The Years?

Heyyy guys! So for today’s post I thought I would look back at my teenage days! Yes this means some embarrassing pictures and also maybe an idea of how I have become the person I am today :D

 School Days!
As you can see from the picture, I am very “hunched” and I did this pose whenever photos were taken of me ...This was because (yes you guessed it) I hated photos being taken of me- (yes you may have guessed again) because I felt SO ugly. (not added in for you to feel sorry for me!!)

I experimented with the makeup. As I did have quite bad skin at school (this photos was my last day at school) I did wear the odd bit of crappy foundation to cover them up!

First Time Going Out Clubbing ETC.
Here you can see my skin has cleared up, and I am looking more and more confident. As I believe I have some form of social anxiety- I did find it a tough but exciting experience going to a club and having photos taken of me!

Obsessed With Wearing Hair Extentions..
Ahh yes! After I gained more confidence in myself, wearing makeup and all things beauty! I had a kind of OCD/comfort zone thing with wearing hair extentions!
I literally would wear the clip ins EVERYDAY, and if I wasn’t wearing them my world would crumble and wherever I was I was not feel nice! (I know sad right). I even paid 500 out when I was in a low wage job to get permanent ones put in for 3 months :) But hey it was a stage I went through! Also I giggle at this photo whenever I see it :p

Gaining More Confidence In Going Out
I chose A photo in which I’m kinda a lil bit drunk (It was on my birthday 2 years ago) But I love how confident I look with myself! No more hunchback! Also I have A really close group of friends - and some of them were in the picJ

So What’s Different?
As from the first photo to the current- you can notice the confidence just from photos! I am now not obsessed with hair extensions, and yes I’m finally able to walk out of the door without makeup on! I’ve slowly realized that It’s not always what you look like that’s important! I still don’t think I’m pretty or whatever, but hey at least I am becoming more comfortable in my skin! My journey started off as a mirror shy girl who has begun to believe that the bullies were wrong and it’s always the good guy that wins!

Love Laura
